The Seven Network has teased that a new female judge will join the all male judging line up for its number one reality series, My Kitchen Rules in 2016.
A new promo released Monday night shows a pair of red high heels exiting an MKR 2016 branded car, with a brunette figure in a red dress viewed from behind walking up to a presumed MKR house and ringing the doorbell, joining current judge Colin Fassnidge, who hides the new judge and winks to the camera.
Our guess is that Karen Martini, a resident guest judge on the show and cook on Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens, will have her profile lifted on MKR.
But for a left of field guess we note that the dress and the brunette hair are both of the style often worn by ABC TV’s Kitchen Cabinet host, cookbook author and political journalist Annabel Crabb – has she jumped to the dark side of commercial TV?
Another promo on the official MKR website also unveils the contestants for 2016. The show is expected to launch in February after the Australian Open tennis.
MKR looks set to finish 2015 as the highest rating non sport program on Australian television.
